As a key member of the corporate FP&A team, this position will assist in developing and implementing corporate strategic plans and initiatives. The position involves frequent interaction with senior company management across the organization, supporting market analysis, strategic planning, and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Sr. Finance Director in evaluating specific business opportunities and exposures (internal and external)

• Perform portfolio management activities, including metric development and measurement
Create and support Brocade’s long term business model

• Support Strategic Model and Planning process
Ensure regular communication of financial performance vs Long Term Model with Exec Team
Manage the company’s long range forecast process
Drive corporate measurements and metrics processes

• Participate in the development of Board of Directors presentations

Qualifications:

Education: B.A./B.S. in relevant field of study

Experience:

• Strong understanding of Finance processes and functions
• Strong technical expertise in financial modeling. Knowledge of Oracle, Hyperion, and Business Objects is a plus.
• Exceptional project management skills.
• 10 years combined experience in Finance and/or Finance Systems in a high-technology company.
• Strong leadership skills, provide direction, lead courageously, influence others, foster teamwork, motivate others, coach and develop others, and champion change
• Think strategically, able to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives
• Drive for results, able to execute within tight deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills
