Production Accountant or Finance Lead with Animation or Visual E ffects experience please make contact with me.
Regardless of your availability, we are often seeking strong candidates several
months in advance for Feature Films and TV Specials. The position duties are
listed below, and we offer long term projects with benefits and bonus
eligibility.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Associate
Producer and Producer to develop production quota schedules and
budgets. - Create weekly cost
reports, employee staffing profiles and estimated final cost
changes. - Approve all payments
and employee status information. - Liaison with HR to
ensure smooth transfer, hiring and terminations of
employees. - Supervise and mentor
Assistant Production Accounting staff on studio policy and procedures and union
payroll rules. - Work with Associate
Producer to strategically plan efficient use of labor resources to crew the show
with cost efficient and highly productive teams, which includes analyzing gap,
training, development and production man-weeks. - Attend
E xecutive Show Update and be
responsible for providing financial flash report and overage requests to
production and studio leadership - Represent show in
weekly Transition Meetings to communicate staffing changes to HR and production
leadership.
Qualifications:
- Business or
Accounting degree preferred. - E xtensive
Project/Production Accounting experience from animation, visual effects or
feature films. - Strong proficiency
with E xcel required. E xperience with Vista preferred.
