As a finance/compliance specialist, you’ll need demonstrated analytical and research experience in order to respond to requests from regulatory agencies and to demonstrate VSP compliance. You will prepare, pay and file multi-state tax returns and act as a subject matter expert, liaising with business partners across VSP to ensure an understanding of requirements. You will be responsible for researching insurance laws to determine filing and business operation requirements.

We’re looking for detail-oriented top talent with knowledge of regulatory requirements in the insurance industry. will be preferable. Understanding the importance of deadlines will be critical.

Here are the criteria for a competitive candidate:

· Experience with multi-state sales tax requirements including preparing, paying and filing returns

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements preferably in an insurance or health care environment

· Experience researching and communicating to regulatory agencies to demonstrate company compliance

· Excellent organizational and project input skills

· Ability to perform detailed work with numerical data and make arithmetic computations accurately

· Attention to details and ability to meet critical deadlines.
