Functional Description:

Responsible for overall financial management of GFAS specific SubLOB’s. This includes full P&L reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, and interfacing with business partners and staff.

Job Description:

§ Financial analysis by contract and product area for variance analysis, capital expenditures, and cash collections, as well as key metrics and volumes, trending analysis, and other relevant information.

§ Significant focus on reporting and analysis to increase visibility to key business drivers and to drive operational and financial performance improvements. Function as a key, trusted business partner throughout all levels of the organization.

§ Provide ongoing financial modeling and analysis expertise to business partners in support of new business, cost savings, or other opportunities.

§ Overall ownership of the annual budgeting, quarterly Forecast and weekly Flash processes for the Business Units within the LOB covering the LOB P&L, capex, and cash collections

§ Support Business Units and operational account managers in the development of regular reporting and analysis, including key metrics reports, and conduct ad hoc financial analysis as required.

§ Monitor contract financial compliance on a regular, on-going basis including total cost to complete, performance versus approved bid model, and regulatory requirements.

§ Work with other departments and operational account managers to develop procedures and tools for improved information processing and management reports with focus on continuous optimization and improvements.

§ Provide leadership and coaching to direct reports, business unit teams, and designated support staff

§ On an ongoing basis, evaluate and prioritize activities and ensure resources are properly aligned with key business priorities.

§ Support Business unit VPs, Finance VP, and account managers as needed.

§ Assess and report (on a solid line basis) on LOB financial performance and risks to the Finance VP for the LOB

§ Any other duties as assigned.

Education and Typical Years Experience

BA/BS with MBA and/or CPA preferred; 5+ years progressive experience
