• Leading financial analysis and business analysis for the region
• Supporting strategic planning and operational planning
• Teaching financial strategy to associates within the region
• Developing roadmaps to drive key metrics
• Providing financial modeling and trending
• Providing analytical driven perspective of key business drivers
• Formulating strategic and operational plans
• Regional travel

Sr. Financial Analyst, Minneapolis, MN, $75-85K

Consumer Products retailer is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst with strong retail background. Ideal candidate will have the following experience:

• Strong retail background
• Project management and process improvement experience
• Experience in month-end close process
• Experience in metrics reports and P&L reporting
• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
• Or Bachelor’s in Information Systems with MBA in Finance
• Hyperion, Oracle, PeopleSoft or similar systems
• Data warehouse and data mining experience
• Solid general systems experience for forecasting and planning
• Creation of financial insight through analysis tools

Position will:

• Coordinate with IT team to translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Lead testing during systems implementation and enhancements
• Provide root cause driver analysis to support decision making
• Provide statistical analysis to support annual plan target setting
• Assist in development of user training on business intelligence systems
• Support the business requirements of financial systems
• Ensure integrity of actual and budget forecast data
• Assist in development of enterprise wide business intelligence capabilities
