Finance Manager

Job Summary:

This position will interact with all facets of the business while providing key financial analysis to assist in keeping the company moving forward. This includes managing financial reporting, forecasting & budgeting, operational analysis and other ad hoc financial analysis. This position will report to the Director of Finance and is a role that will give a breadth of exposure and visibility throughout the organization.

Essential Functions:

· Responsibilities include complex financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting, develop and analyzing operating metrics, P&L reporting and profitability analysis.

· Collaborate with Product Marketing and Development on developing and executing business development projects, continuous improvement initiatives, forecasting, business performance reviews and other business planning activities;

· Handle monthly projection model update process: maintain financial statement forecast models, update estimated data with actual performance results; ensure YTD actual data ties with YTD financial statements, maintain prior projection model integrity, produce actual to projection variance analysis, add future periods to the models as needed, and work with management to incorporate into the models the impacts of new business ventures, process and operational changes and trend changes.

· Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial statements and reporting package including staff backup support during the month end closing process, production of key performance metrics for management that are published via the monthly financial reporting package, and preparation of any related analysis.

· Assist in the preparation of the annual budget including spending trend analysis, quantifying the impacts of current and new business initiatives and incorporating the Company’s goals.

· Manage and/or execute ad-hoc analytic requests, database queries, and report generation as needed.

· Daily use of financial analysis skills including an understanding of materiality, application of management accounting concepts and spreadsheet mastering skills for analysis of information.

Skills:

· BS Finance/Business/Accounting + 7 years experience, MBA Preferred

· Minimum 4 years of experience in an FP&A role

· Working knowledge of relevant areas of accounting and finance

· SAP experience is a plus

· Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills

· Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint

· Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Ability to work in a team environment
