Cutting edge retail/products company seeks a sharp Finance Manager to report to the CFO in producing meaningful accounting and financial reports. This is a true hybrid financial position.

Job Responsibilities

• POSITION DESCRIPTION

  Prepares, reviews and analyzes weekly and monthly reports; assists in preparation of the Budget and Forecasts; independently gathers data and prepares reports used for strategic decision making; prepares, analyzes and presents special assignments; and performs other related work as required.

  SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  · Assist with the monthly close and financial statement preparation.

• · Prepares an assortment of schedules for the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.

  · General ledger account analysis

  · Prepare and analyze overhead reports for management review.

  · Prepares marketing cost reports.

  · Prepares various reports for the auditors on a quarterly basis.

  · Prepares and analyzes reports including but not limited to reports regarding sales, returns, budgets, operations, expenses, and income.

  · Assists in the designing and generating of new reports as required

  · Special assignments as required.

Job Qualifications

• A BS in Accounting/Finance and 7-10 years of experience with inventory reporting and analysis as a critical component
• Ability to work in a loosely structured yet congenial atmosphere.
