Spacelabs Healthcare, one of the world’s most respected medical device manufacturers is seeking an experienced Finance Manager.

Managing a financial analyst, this position is the primary interface between finance and worldwide sales providing direction and support for the organization. Must have demonstrated strong financial and business acumen as well as strong analytical skills to support and drive strategic and financial initiatives.

• Drive deal analyst being the point of approval for all “non-standard” pricing of products
• Responsible for all revenue forecasting activities working closing with sales department to continuously update the world wide forecast
• Support divisions through ad hoc financial analysis and reporting, including new business opportunities, pricing analysis, customer and product line proformas
• Manage the monthly close process for the sales and marketing organizations.
• Partner with the sales and marketing organizations to drive revenue and profitability goals.
• Provide regular analysis of sales and profitability data in order to understand current sales situation and improve our sales and profitability going forward.
• Closely manage expenses for the sales and marketing organizations

• Minimum 5 years experience in finance related roles in financial planning and analysis, business analysis financial modeling, or forecasting
• BA or BS, preferably in Business or finance
• MBA preferred
• Ability to effectively utilize data to provide insightful analysis and prudent recommendations
• Works effectively in ambiguous situations
• Demonstrate a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
• Ability to work independently,
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present confidently to Senior Management
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with financial systems/applications (i.e. Hyperion, Essbase, MfgPro, Oracle, SAP, etc),
• Strong work ethic; proven track record for delivering on commitments
• Adaptable/flexible in response to multiple requests and frequent changes
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
