Finance Associate – Salt Lake City, UT-96588 Description
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with attention to detail that possesses strong initiative and analytical/accounting skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities supporting the Bank’s Accounting, Credit and Operations departments. The candidate should be able to work independently in a fast paced environment as well as work closely with peers on assigned projects and participate in cross-training activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Daily and periodic journal entries and reconciliations
- Daily reporting on Bank’s deposit product
- Processing customer adjustments
- Maintaining appropriate procedures for key responsibilities
- Maintenance of Access databases used for various purposes
- Pull credit applications and prepare credit files for review
- Filing
- Data entry
Qualifications The ideal candidate will preferably possess the following skills/qualifications:
- Associates degree in Business, preferred
- 1 year of accounting experience, preferred
- 1 year of compliance experience, prefered
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Access and Outlook
- Familiarity with Internet & Windows
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under time constraints while multi-tasking
