Finance Assistant

Looking for excitement, flexibility and growth? Consider a full-time position as a Finance Assistant for the Central Intelligence Agency. Finance Assistants are responsible for supporting pre-audit reconciliation, processing financial data, preparing and auditing travel-related transactions, auditing invoices for commercial vendors, and performing other ad hoc duties.

Minimum requirements: This position is open to those possessing a high school diploma, also those who have acquired any level of Associates education or equivalent, but not a four-year degree. Accounting or other business-related coursework is preferred but not necessary. Good problem solving, also excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are needed. A demonstrated record of excellence in job performance and proven time management and organizational skills are desired. These positions require a 5-year contract-term employment agreement.

During the application/interview process, applicants will take an aptitude and personality assessment test.

Because of CIA’s national security role, all applicants must successfully complete a thorough medical and psychological exam, a polygraph interview and an extensive background investigation.
