This position is responsible for month end close activities, retail report creation, forecasting/actual activity from previous month’s research, and accounting related activities. This position will assist the senior analyst and the manager in their monthly activities.
•Support the monthly closing process
•Prepare monthly financial forecast and researching history determining risks and opportunities
•Creating/improving reports to analyze direct to consumer business
•Prepare and develop annual budgets and long range plans
•Ad-hoc analysis that helps drive the business Qualifications:
•Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting and 2-4 years experience.
•2-4 years of accounting finance experience
•Demonstrates poise and confidence in working with and influencing all levels of management.
•Strong personal skills, ability to build trust, confidence and exceptional working relationships.
•Ability to think strategically and turn strategies into fact-based executable plans.
•Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with the proven ability to turn findings into executable recommendations and plans.
•Ability to balance priorities and deliver results through strong project management skills and through the identification and utilization all available resources.
•Experience with Finance and Accounting systems and processes (budgeting, forecasting & reconciliation of actual results).
•Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
•Solid understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
•Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Hyperion Essbase and Access knowledge a plus Required Skills:
