ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the overall management and direction of financial teams
• Assures the quality of output of the Financial Reporting department meets the expectations of senior management.
• Identifies, plans, and manages projects supporting the objectives of senior management.
• Coordinates initiatives requiring financial and analytical skills with all levels of management.
• Participates in monthly executive reviews of financial information.
• Serves as Business Unit senior financial representative for all businesses.
• Coordinates communication between group and other areas within firm from a financial perspective (audit, tax, CSA, corporate financial, senior management).
• Responsible for maintaining updated policies and procedures. Drafts policy revisions for management approval.
• Coaches and develops staff. Responsible for interviewing, recommending hires, assessing performance, recommending salary changes, and progressive discipline.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent required with at least twelve (12) years of finance, planning and analysis related work experience. MBA preferred. Healthcare experience preferred. At least five (5) years experience coaching, developing, and managing staff. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Experience with Essbase, Oracle and PeopleSoft preferred.
