DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

(Exempt level position) Workforce Connections, Inc., a private non-profit employment and training organization, is seeking to fill a Director of Finance position in our corporate office in La Crosse. Responsibilities: Daily internal financial support operations of an $8 million corporation. Development and implementation of mechanisms designed to maintain the fiscal, legal, and compliant integrity of the organization while supporting a focus on strategic development. Serves as a key member of the organization’s core management team.

Qualifications: Prefer a Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting in addition to CPA licensure; plus 3-5 years relevant experience. Demonstrated experience in government or nonprofit accounting and associated budgeting and reporting requirements; and computerized financial programs. Excellent oral and written communications and critical thinking and analytical skills. Ability to use appropriate computer systems including Windows operating system and Microsoft Office Suite required.

Hours: Exempt level position

Starting Pay Range: Upper $40′s – low $50′s annually (negotiable based on experience).
