The College of Business Administration at Texas A&M
University-Kingsville is seeking two Department Chairs, one for
the Department of Management and Marketing and the other for
the Department of Accounting and Finance. Both positions are
available January 2011. Chairs are responsible for the daily
operation of all departmental programs as well as long-term
planning, scheduling, and curriculum enhancement. Each chair
will teach 2 classes per semester. Academic qualifications
include an earned doctorate in one of the department discipline
majors from a regionally accredited institution or university,
preferably including AACSB accreditation. Candidates must have
18 graduate hours for every field in which they will teach,
Candidates must be professionally qualified to (1) hold the rank
of either Associate or Full Professor and (2) be AACSB
Academically Qualified (AQ).
