Responsibilities:

· Provide high quality Management Information with appropriate interpretation and analysis on a timely basis.

· Assist in the completion of the annual budget and monthly forecasts.

· Provide month-end P&L and B/S analysis and commentary.

· Provide support to CDS Front office management.

· Develop productive and valued relationships with the Front Office and global cost decision support team members.

· Respond to ad-hoc queries.

· Ensure that appropriate procedures and processes are in place, are followed and developed to accurately report the costs of the business (e.g. accruals, balance sheet controls etc.)

· Support various initiatives to enhance cost transparency and improve the efficiency of the ledger control teams across the wider cost control department

Requirements:

· 3 – 5 yrs Finance / Reporting experience in a financial service firm

· Cost control and budgeting knowledge.

· Proactive and assertive in driving control improvement in existing and new processes.

· Understanding of investment banking products.

· Excel and PowerPoint skills. SAP knowledge preferred

· Strong presentation and communication (verbal and written) skills

· Undergraduate degree required
