Our client, a top Investment Bank specializing in the Health Care sector, is seeking (2) Associates to join their NYC based banking team.

Position Duties:

• Work as a member of Health Care Investment Banking
• Prepare multi-year financing and corporate finance/M&A transactions for health care, senior living and long-term care clients
• Represent firm at client meetings regarding planning, M&A and sales efforts
• Assist in facility sales, merger and project development efforts for non-profit, senior living and long-term care facilities
• Develop and evaluate alternative capital structures (maturities, principal amortization, interest rate modes, interest rate management strategies)
• Maintain proprietary databases used in research and corporate valuation functions
• Provide overall transaction team support for new tax-exempt bond offerings, debt restructurings and sales advisory assignments
• Help manage relationships with other professional firms and trade groups

Position Requirements:

• MBA required
• Minimum 3 years experience in Investment Banking
• Health Care industry experience is required
• M&A transactional experience is required
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling
• Proficient with Excel, Power Point and Word
• Excellent analytical skills, including accounting fundamentals
• DBC experience preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Must be willing to travel when necessary
• NASD Series 7 license or the ability to obtain within 3 months of employment (time and study materials will be provided if necessary)

Base salary to $100K
