Job Information:

The Accounting Customer Service Representative is a key member of the Cargill team in Southern Indiana. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Principal Accountabilities:

Accounting duties and backup for AR/AP

• Manage customer requests for grain settlement and process payments. Ensure high level of settlement accuracy .
• Provide high level administrative support for customer related activities.

· Answer and service incoming customer calls and handling walk in customers where applicable.

· Effective communication of accounting processes and procedures to relevant teammates as required.

· Provide administrative support as needed for grower communication (newsletters, brochures, direct mail)

· Ability to work independently and accurately. Strong PC Skills , especially in MS Excel and MS Word.

Qualifications:

Required:

· Associates’ degree OR at least 2 years of experience in accounting

· Proven strong ability to work independently

· Proven strong interpersonal communication skills

· Proven ability to accurately and consistently execute complex and detailed processes and procedures concerning accounting processes and the ability to demonstrate problem solving skills.

· Proven ability to work effectively across all levels of organization and the ability to work in a team environment.

· Strong PC skills in MS Excel and MS Word

· A/R and A/P knowledge

· Customer Service Orientated

Preferred:

· Experience in working on accounting related projects.

· Knowledge of spreadsheet creation in excel.
